Finding the Right Bowl Size
Need a new bowl piece but don't know what size to get?
This simple trick can help you out, all you need is a penny and your piece!
To find the bowl size, you will want to place a penny on the joint. If your piece uses a downstem you will want to measure from there, and if it doesn't you will measure the joint.
If the penny sits flat on or slides off the joint, you have a 14mm joint which would need a 14mm bowl. A 14mm bowl joint would be smaller than a penny.
If the penny fits inside the joint, you have a 19mm which would need a 19mm bowl. A 19mm bowl joint is about the same size as a penny.
